I unfortunately didn't !!!! I woke up sick as a dog and praying to the porcelain gods. I wish I could say that it was because my old ass was drinking and parting but in truth, I wasn't. Sad but true. I haven't partied in years.
It has been an incredibly busy day today at work but wanted to take a quick moment and give you an update on some things that are going on.
As some of you know I got my CPAP Machine last Tuesday and wasn't to thrilled to use it but I was hopeful that it was going to make me feel alot better. I have to report that the jury is still out on that. The first night I felt great, the second night was ok, but for the remainder of the week it wasn't so good. I felt like I was suffocating and still do from time to time but that isn't the worst part. This is the machine and mask that I have it is relatively smaller than I thought it would be and surprisingly hardly makes a sound.
I think the hardest part for me though is the damn 5' hose that comes off of this thing. I know that they need to have room for slack but seriously I get tangled up in it at night and no way to put it out of the way. As for the worst part, it has one of the worst odors I have ever smelled from a machine within 3-4 hrs of using it I get woke up out of a dead sleep. I am so sick by the smell that I can't put it back on and of course I got fussed at about it today from the medical place I got it. I have to keep my AHI number at 5 or below. You can read about that Here, from what I understand it is basically how many times I stop breathing at night. I am drown considerably to an average of 8.5. I was above 20 so I am doing somewhat better. I soaked it in baking soda last night for about 10 minutes and no more smell. I slept all night with it on and it didn't bother me.
The lump on my throat is still there. The biopsy of my thyroid or "Madams' Apple" as a very sweet reader referred to it as, showed it was benign so we are waiting until December to check it again. The reader did suggest that I have them do some other test since they are going through the same or similar issues I am. I am printing out the email and taking it with me the next time I go to the doctor.
I am going to the YMCA today after work to get into the special they have for this special offer they have going on.
I have decided it is beyond time to de-clutter my house but more importantly my office. You all remember this photo?
Yeah it doesn't look much different now either. But I am working on it. I have alot of projects that I want to get done and things I want to change in the house so stay tuned for that. I know I am sad too, just looking at it makes me cringe. But in the next 2 weeks I have a feeling it will look alot different.
I am planning on a trip to Orlando the last weekend/first week of August/September and I want to have to and most everything else in the house and my life in better shape than it is right now.
Oh I have to share a picture of my handsome grandson. It is hard to believe that in 12 days he will be a Year old. OMG where does the time go? His mom nor I can figure it out but he is the heart of the house and the center of attention. How could you not think this baby is adorable and just want to pinch those chubby cheeks? He is such a ham. He is learning about all kinds of new foods and checking people out. My brother-in-law who is a Chiropractor went out to lunch with hubby, Christian and I along with his lovely wife Gail. That is the mirror reflection of him in the background. We went to The Grape Leaf. That is another post in itself...lol. But Gail was playing with the baby. He would look in the mirror and then turn around and she would sneak up and get him. (ps...yes that is a black eye he is sporting...the coffee table wasn't about to loose the fight)
Well it is about time to head out the door to go to the gym and get signed up for the YMCA special they have going on. I hope everyone has a great rest of the day and don't forget to leave a comment. Love meeting new people and learning about others.
