Is this you? Does it seem to be happening more and more with no end in sight? If you answered yes to either of these then you are NOT alone. I am right there with you. My husband asks me all the time what is wrong or what he can do to help but honestly he is part of the problem. Hell everything is part of the problem if I am going to be honest.
I don't have a busy social life or any social life at all for that matter. I don't have small children that require my attention but I do babysit my grandson for my daughter. I live in a house with 4 grown adults and 1 child under 1 and yet it seems that no one can do anything without getting me involved. It absolutely drives me insane. I have talked to all of them about it and yet it does me no good.
This is probably going to be more like a rant than a blog post but I am sure that there are several people out in blogland that can relate to me. I mean seriously when is enough enough? I am just ready to run away and never look back. I feel so overwhelmed and annoyed and aggravated that it isn't even funny. There isn't just one particular thing that makes me that way either. I don't know why I am letting so many things get to me but I feel literally like I am drowning and no one is there to save me.
When the garbage is full regardless of whose job it is to take it out then don't throw shit on the floor.
My husband refuses to take out the garbage because he says it is my sons job. My daughter and I take out the garbage when it gets over full and my son isn't home to take it out. ughhhhh drives me nuts. I can't hang pictures on the walls where and how I want to because he says that photos belong in an album and not on the wall like a museum. Uggghhhhhh drives me nuts. (are we starting to see a pattern)
My daughter has to call me with and about every little thing in the world. Not that I mind her calling me but honestly I don't need her to call me and tell me that she is going swimming after she does other running after work. I need to know this why? I just need to know when she will be home and if I need to pick up the baby from daycare. Other than that it doesn't matter.
My son, well I only see him when he comes out of his room for food, a shower, something to drink and when I ask him to take out the garbage. Oh yeah I forgot sometimes I see him when he is leaving for work or just getting home from work.
Everyone in my house works and we all do different things except for my kids. They are both assistant managers at the cookie company that they work at which just so happens to be at the 2 biggest malls in our city that is literally separated by the expressway. They work different shifts most of the time so one is usually home when the other isn't. Both my husband and I work close to the same shift. He goes in to work at 6:30 and is usually home by 4:30 and I am an 8-5 person. Sometimes I have AVON meetings but sometimes I don't. I am the only one with a sit down job and mental exhaustion.

Happy Monday everyone. I hope you had a wonderful weekend and a wonderful start to your week so far. My weekend was a lazy one. My hubby and I basically sat around all day both Saturday and Sunday on the couch and switched back and forth from Star Trek and Greys Anatomy. I haven't watched Grey's since before Izzy got sick and I decided I would start from the beginning again on Netflix. I swear that program is addicting.
Anyway, I started to talk to my SIL Kisha about blog designs and what it is that I want in mine. It is so confusing. Do you know how many designs are out there? Seriously there are like 20 million gazillion of them. It is so hard to narrow it down. Especially when you aren't sure what you want but know you want something that POPS and makes people stay awhile.
This is just the beginning of Elegant Blogger Designs when you google it. Which is hard to choose because I want something that is simple, elegant, colorful and pops all at the same time. I want ones with drop down menus but ones that aren't too busy and yet keep you engaged.
I want something that has color but not too much color, Something that is mostly full page on post yet allows all the sidebar stuff without loosing you in it. This is a screen shot of Chic Blogger templates. See the pretty colors without over doing it.
Then you have the Cute Blogger Templates that have alot of color, they seem to pop off the page but some don't have the drop down menu or they are the right color and layout but extremely too busy and don't look very simple or professional.
Seriously how do you people decide what you want your blog to look like? I like color but not to much, I want it to pop and say "Hey Look At Me" but I don't want to give you a headache or make you run screaming because of all the colors and busy stuff. I am just so confused. My SIL told me to go to Etsy and see what I can find on there but honestly I am not really an Etsy user. I don't want to pay for something that I don't know if I will like. I certainly don't want to have to turn over my passwords to my accounts to someone to have them install the template only not to be able to do the changes I want to do without having them do it for a fee.
I am curious as to how you decided on your blog template? What draws you to a blog in the first place? Is it the subject, title, color, design or something else entirely? I would really love to know. My blog to me looks a little too busy but I don't know how to make it look less and not boring at the same time. One of my biggest issues is this:
I want this to be alot shorter, less crowded and more organized but not sure how. I am sure there is a widget for this but it drives me crazy. Then I have the issue with the tabs at the top.
Fortunately for me, I remembered to do both the AVON and #AVON tag on this post but I have plenty more that don't have them both. I don't seem to always remember to put both of the words in every post. Which undoubtedly causes alot of my AVON post not to show up under the AVON tab. Super annoying....uggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!!
Please tell me I am not the only person with these issues? It is just so damn frustrating to figure out. It is hard to get it all the way you want it and at a reasonable price that you know for sure will do what you want it to do.
So bring it on ladies. Who did you use to design your blog and what made you pick them? Was it hard to figure out what you wanted on your blog? What was the deciding factor for you? I know that there are a ton of differences between WordPress and Blogger Templates but I still want to know the answers regardless of what forum you use.
Love to hear what your thoughts and process is. Help me out ladies because I know I can't be the only one with these issues.

Good evening all. I wasn't this productive but I sure did feel this productive as I was jamming out to the 80's station on I ♥ Radio today. I am still going at it and purging alot of stuff that I either:
A) Kept thinking I would use
B) Used along time ago but no more
C) Don't remember why the hell I had it to begin with
On the bright side though I can see alot more of my desk and floor then I could at the beginning...lol. It's a start right? I think so. Right now though I am taking a break and drinking a cup of coffee while still listening to I ♥ Radio on the computer. Yes I know it is after 10 p.m. and yes I know that coffee is suppose to keep you up but it actually helps me relax and unwind.
It rained here today which totally sucks because I hate driving in the rain but I pulled up my big girl panties, got behind the wheel and went to the gym. No I didn't workout but I did get signed up for the personal trainer sessions that I talked about in this post. I also got several different class schedules so that I can work out a plan on which one's I can attend and take my little Monkey Butt with me to the gym. Granted he will be going from one day care to another but at least it will be a change of place and different people to learn to interact with.
I have been doing alot of thinking the past couple of days about what I want out of life and where I want to see things heading. It is hard for me because the one thing that I love has become such a burden to me that I don't want it anymore. I have basically thrown in the towel on it. For now at least I can concentrate on me and getting healthier and happier. I can always go back to in after while. I just hate that something happened to make me feel this way.
My main focus is going to be on me and my family. There is just too much going on and not to mention all the medical crap with the thyroid, back problems, wrist issues and just plain on lack of give a shit for me to deal with that I want to step back. I need to start with a clean slate and take it head on and be my best like I was before. I just am not there right now. So for now I am going to step back, clean house, get healthy, enjoy my family and when the time is right I will get back to the thing that I love that has become a real pain in my ass.
I already have dinner in the crock pot for tomorrow. We are having a pot roast for dinner. I have had a hard time getting my pot roast to turn out right lately so I was trolling the internet earlier for a good recipe only to realize that my dumb ass has been using pork and not beef. Duh to me. No wonder it isn't tasting like I think it should. See this is just the thing I was talking about. Everything becoming a distraction that I can't even concentrate and realize that my pot roast doesn't taste right because I keep thinking it is roast beef. Damn I am not with it.
I did manage to get a fruit tray earlier today at Kroger on lunch and had it with my salad for lunch. I managed to have enough left over that I was even able to share it with the other ladies in the office and have more for tomorrow. I don't normally buy fruit but I found this Watermelon Ice Post from The Happier Homemaker and all I could think about was watermelon today. So of course I had to go get some.
Ok I guess I better get off of here and get finished. I have to hope over to my AVON Site and place my order and pay my bill so I can keep customers happy. You should head on over to my AVON Store and see all the great things that we have on sale. We have something for everyone. Click on the picture below to get started.
We have something for everyone regardless of your age or gender. Everything from make-up, jewelry, skin care, clothing, under garments, shoes, toys, foot care and bathing products.
Ok I am getting off of here now. I have to finish purging some documents so I can stop carrying them around with me so I don't forget about them. I hope you and yours have a wonderful rest of the evening and a great Wednesday tomorrow. Don't forget to leave a comment to let me know you were here.
I unfortunately didn't !!!! I woke up sick as a dog and praying to the porcelain gods. I wish I could say that it was because my old ass was drinking and parting but in truth, I wasn't. Sad but true. I haven't partied in years.
It has been an incredibly busy day today at work but wanted to take a quick moment and give you an update on some things that are going on.
As some of you know I got my CPAP Machine last Tuesday and wasn't to thrilled to use it but I was hopeful that it was going to make me feel alot better. I have to report that the jury is still out on that. The first night I felt great, the second night was ok, but for the remainder of the week it wasn't so good. I felt like I was suffocating and still do from time to time but that isn't the worst part. This is the machine and mask that I have it is relatively smaller than I thought it would be and surprisingly hardly makes a sound.
I think the hardest part for me though is the damn 5' hose that comes off of this thing. I know that they need to have room for slack but seriously I get tangled up in it at night and no way to put it out of the way. As for the worst part, it has one of the worst odors I have ever smelled from a machine within 3-4 hrs of using it I get woke up out of a dead sleep. I am so sick by the smell that I can't put it back on and of course I got fussed at about it today from the medical place I got it. I have to keep my AHI number at 5 or below. You can read about that Here, from what I understand it is basically how many times I stop breathing at night. I am drown considerably to an average of 8.5. I was above 20 so I am doing somewhat better. I soaked it in baking soda last night for about 10 minutes and no more smell. I slept all night with it on and it didn't bother me.
The lump on my throat is still there. The biopsy of my thyroid or "Madams' Apple" as a very sweet reader referred to it as, showed it was benign so we are waiting until December to check it again. The reader did suggest that I have them do some other test since they are going through the same or similar issues I am. I am printing out the email and taking it with me the next time I go to the doctor.
I am going to the YMCA today after work to get into the special they have for this special offer they have going on.
I have decided it is beyond time to de-clutter my house but more importantly my office. You all remember this photo?
Yeah it doesn't look much different now either. But I am working on it. I have alot of projects that I want to get done and things I want to change in the house so stay tuned for that. I know I am sad too, just looking at it makes me cringe. But in the next 2 weeks I have a feeling it will look alot different.
I am planning on a trip to Orlando the last weekend/first week of August/September and I want to have to and most everything else in the house and my life in better shape than it is right now.
Oh I have to share a picture of my handsome grandson. It is hard to believe that in 12 days he will be a Year old. OMG where does the time go? His mom nor I can figure it out but he is the heart of the house and the center of attention. How could you not think this baby is adorable and just want to pinch those chubby cheeks? He is such a ham. He is learning about all kinds of new foods and checking people out. My brother-in-law who is a Chiropractor went out to lunch with hubby, Christian and I along with his lovely wife Gail. That is the mirror reflection of him in the background. We went to The Grape Leaf. That is another post in itself...lol. But Gail was playing with the baby. He would look in the mirror and then turn around and she would sneak up and get him. (ps...yes that is a black eye he is sporting...the coffee table wasn't about to loose the fight)
Well it is about time to head out the door to go to the gym and get signed up for the YMCA special they have going on. I hope everyone has a great rest of the day and don't forget to leave a comment. Love meeting new people and learning about others.

Hello everyone and welcome back to another edition of Wednesday Hodgepodge. Joyce does such a wonderful job with the questions and making you think about the answers. Hope on over here and join in. Don’t forget to leave a comment and let me know you were here so we can all grow our followers and audience.
Have a Happy 4th of July Weekend and be safe while having fun and enjoying the Freedoms we have that so many want and yet don’t have.
1. On Saturday July 4th America celebrates her Independence. (If you're not American, feel free to answer in terms of a national holiday in your own country) What is your favorite thing about the day? Your favorite food on the 4th? Do you fly a flag at your house? Fireworks-yay or nay? Any special plans this year?
-- We don’t really buy fireworks since my kids are grown. However, soon it will be different once my grandson realizes what they are. We usually go to a relative’s house for a cookout and celebrate with all of the family. However, come to think about it, I haven’t heard about a cookout for this year yet. Hmmmm, looks like I will have to make a few calls.
2. What's something you recently got for free?
-- That would have to be a T-Shirt that says :AVON across the front of it. One of the ladies in the group won one and she already had one so she gave it to me.
3. The Statue of Liberty, The Liberty Bell, The Washington Monument, or Mount Rushmore...how many on the list have you seen? What is your favorite historical American monument, and why?
-- Well considering I have been to NYC I wasn’t able to go visit our Lady Liberty. I had planned on doing a weekend trip to Philly but Hubby and I can’t seem to get it scheduled. Mount Rushmore is a place I am so wanting to go but for the life of me can’t seem to get hubby interested in that one. We are older and out of shape so I can understand his point in a way. I have been to The Washington Monument and seen several others while there. It was pretty neat I have to say. As for my favorite historical monument, I can’t say. I haven’t seen them all to make an informed opinion on that. My next trip will be to either Philly or NYC.
4. When it comes to the news are you more ostrich (stick my head in the sand) or hog (they have room to take a whole lot in)? How much attention have you given the recent news reports regarding ISIS and the acts of terror they've perpetrated against those who do not share their beliefs or support their cause?
-- I honestly haven’t read the news nor watched it. Hubby has the t.v. occupied with Star Trek Episodes on Netflix.
5. We're talking plain ice cream...vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry? Choose one.
-- Chocolate without a doubt. However, I still add Hershey syrup on it. Love my chocolate but the dark chocolate and death by chocolate is too much.
6. Share a song you love containing the word 'stars' in the lyrics or title?
-- Wow that is a hard one. I had to do some searching. I would have to go with “Counting Stars” by OneRebulic.
7. Describe and/or say goodbye to June with an acrostic.
Now it is time for the hot weather
Easing my way into the Hottest month with the most birthdays.
8. Insert your own random thought here.
8. Insert your own random thought here.
-- I got my CPAP Machine yesterday and had my first night of sleep with it on. It seemed like it was going to take forever in the appointment and I honestly just wanted to go to sleep there and try it out but I had to go back to work. It was really hard breathing with it at first and felt like I was suffocating but as the night went on I was able to sleep with it. I only woke up once during the night to use the bathroom but other than that I didn’t have a problem with it. I woke up feeling better than I have in awhile. However, I have had a headache all day. I will probably go home and take my migraine meds and go back to bed. The other grandma has the baby tonight while my daughter is working so I hope to get a nap in at least.
-- My testing came back from my biopsy and the results were “I don’t know what it is but it isn’t cancer” was the response from the doctor. Great it isn’t cancer but I still have no answer as to what “it” is. I scheduled a follow up appointment in December and if it isn’t any better by then we are going to go into surgery and remove it.
