Seriously Need Organization Help!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog.  I have sort of been MIA for the past week.  But I have been seriously busy with my AVON business this past week along with babysitting the critter while his mommy is working.  So needless to say between the two it has been rather difficult for me to get on here and get some posting done.  However, I was able to get a post done for Veterans Day, Ok, the day after but I was still able to get one done.

So here it is Saturday morning and I am covering for one of the girls at work because she has some medical issues to take care of next week and wants to get stuff done that needs to be done before Monday.  No problem other then the fact that I am having the hardest time of waking up.  But nevertheless, I thought I would take this time to do some research on how to get me ORGANIZED.  I came across this picture at the top and thought Oh yeah totally me!!!!

I am the worst for printing out things to help me get organized and then not being able to find them later to get organized.  Please tell me I am not the only one like this!!!!  Am I?

I have been searching websites left and right this morning trying to find something, anything on a style or solution to my mess.

Seriously, take a look at that desk and tell me what the problem is.  TMS (too much stuff) as my hubsand would say.  You see some AVON, THIRTY-ONE, Organizing Bins, Letter Trays and binders.  However, it isn't working out for me.  Even the filing cabinets are full of files for AVON papers, blog ideas, craft ideas and of course my bills and important papers.  However, I still have a cluttered desk.  I can't figure it out.

I read an article one time about using an Electronic Filing System and I thought it was a great idea.  The only problem is that I don't want to pay a monthly or yearly fee and I don't want to have to worry about a server or site being down or hacked.  I am sure that they (on-line software/programs/servers) have gone through a lot of hoops and measures to make sure that our information is secure.  However, Financial Institutions do as well and they still get hacked.  Plus I like to have back up hard copies for proof if need be or to make a copy for someone if they want it.

Do you think that I am being a little crazy or unreal with those thoughts?  Just last week I have heard of at least 10 different people having their PNC Bank Accounts and Business Accounts hacked and when they confronted PNC about it they were told "sorry their isn't anything we can do because we haven't been told there was a problem and to get a new Debit/Credit card then you will have to pay a replacement fee", Seriously?  All I can say is that I am glad I don't bank with them.  I am however, IMPRESSED with Fifth-Third Bank.  Why you ask?  I received a new Debit Card in the mail because I had used it at Home Depot not long ago when their system got hacked.  However, my account or information wasn't compromised this was a precaution step on their part to prevent any issues.

So I guess what I am saying is that I would rather have the touchable copies then the none touchable when it comes to paperwork.  I am even backing up my photos on Google because my computer has gone on the fritz more times then not lately and I don't want to loose any photos.

So here is a photo that I love of the organized desk/office area but don't have the money to go out and get everything but don't mind any suggestions for alternatives.  These are from Clean Mama and I love the idea again but I already do most of it.  Just don't have it this organized and clean looking.

As for my bill paying system, yeah it is pitiful.  I keep everything in a file folder and I carry it to and from work every day to make sure I don't forget to pay something.  Then after I pay it, I will either shred it or take it home and put it under the appropriate letter in the file cabinet.  So that part I am doing well and it really works for me.  However as you can tell, the rest of my desk needs help!!!!!

I love alot of the products that clean mama uses and I have fallen in love with alot of the stuff I have seen IKEA and Martha Stewart but either A) I can't afford it or B) I don't know if it will be what I actually want without seeing it in person first.
This is one that I love but again, several issues here as well as money to buy things even close to this design.  But then again, I like alot of others as well but I can't pin them all on here or else you will be on this post for

Thank you for stopping by and any help or suggestions you can provide would be greatly appreciated.  If you are a organizer and need a project then please consider me for the project.  I could use all the help I can get.  My shift is almost over here at work today and I need to start shutting things down in the building so I can leave and get home to the mess again and try to get inspired to get my shit organized.  Wish me luck.

Please leave your comments and ideas below as well as your website and I will get back with you as soon as I can.  Thanks again for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful and awesome rest of the weekend.  It is freezing cold here this weekend so I won't be out doing much.

Wednesday Hodgepodge

Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of Wednesday Hodgepodge.  I am linking up with Joyce from From This Side of The Pond.  She always comes up with some great questions and really makes you  SO be sure to leave a comment below and then hop on over to her blog and join in on the fun.

1. We celebrate Veteran's Day in the US of A on November 11th. When did you last interact with a member of the armed forces (either currently serving or retired)? Have you ever written a letter to a soldier, bought a meal or coffee for a solider, said an unprompted thank you to a soldier you encountered out and about somewhere? If you're not in the US, comment on a similar holiday in your own country.
--- I was married to a Army man so yes I have written a letter or two.  I try to interact as much as possible with these two very handsome men below that I call my nephews.  But sometimes it is hard.  Derek on the left seems to be always out in training or deployed and Justin on the right is back home from being injured and married to his beautiful wife Trynity.

2. You can have fifty pounds of anything at all (except money)...what would you choose?
---- Oh that is easy....DIAMONDS!!!!!!!  Since I can't have money then I will take the Diamonds and sell them for money...hehehehe.

3. When did you last receive an invitation in the 'real' mail? What was it for and did you attend? When it comes to RSVP-ing, are you an 'early responder' or a 'last minute, barely-under-the-wire' kind of guest?
---  The last invitation I received in the mail would have to be from my sister-in-laws sister for her wedding.  We weren't able to attend because on the same day I was having a baby shower for my daughter.

4. What's something you really don't like to waste?
---- Coffee!!!!!!!!  Oh yeah and Ice Cream

5. Cheers, Friends, MASH, Seinfeld...of the ones listed, your favorite long-running sitcom?
--- Cheers I would have to say.  Only because I can relate to the scene.

6. What decision are you glad you made?
--- Having my children and getting 2 college degrees.

7. In this month of 'Thanksgiving' what is one thing that's different today than it was a year ago that you're grateful for?
--- We have a wonderful new grandbaby.  He is such a love and a great baby.  Hardly ever cries and is starting to discover he has a voice.  The sounds of a baby are magical.

8.  Insert your own random thought here.
--- I am so greatful for the wonderful family that I have.  Although sometimes I swear they like to test my nerves.  I just wish that my family was complete and that my mom, my oldest daughter were still here on earth with us and her children and my oldest son were close.  I miss them all so much.  There isn't a day that don't go by that I don't think of them and miss them greatly.  One day though I know we will all be together in Heaven where there is only love, happiness and peace.

This is the last Thanksgiving that my mom and my daughter were here on earth with us.  It was in 2007.

This year we are going to my brothers Scott (above with mom and Heather) and Kisha's house for Thanksgiving.  My other daughter and grandson are suppose to be going to Texas (I really don't want them going) and my son has to work so me and the Hubby is going.  I know some of you may judge but that is ok.  I hate us all being apart on Thanksgiving but since my mom and daughter passed it hasn't been the same anyway.

So I hope you all have enjoyed and be sure to leave a comment below letting me know you were here and then hope on over to Joyce's blog and join in.
