I then went on about my day and had to meet with someone to sign them up for Avon and needless to say they didn't show up. I was really disappointed. This was going to be my first recruit to leadership in Avon. However, I did get to spend some time with my upline manager and we went over a ton of things. So I was thankful for that at least.
Today is a whole other story. I got a call from my cousin this morning telling me that her husband of 35 yrs had a massive heart attack during surgery and then a stroke in recovery. They had him hooked up to all sorts of machines to try and save him but they took him off for a few minutes today to see if he can be without them. I am sad to report that I got a call about 10 minutes later saying that he didn't make it. I asked about life insurance and she said that social security told her that she had to drop the life insurance they had because it was counted as an asset and if she didn't drop it then they would stop the social security. So the government screwed them and now they are trying to figure out how to get him buried with no money. I would like to ask that if I post the information about his funeral once I find out if I can please get donations sent to help cover the expenses. They were both on social security and she is taking care of her grandkids because of other circumstances in the family. I am hoping that with this request we can help show someone who is in need of prayers that there is still loving and caring people in this world by helping someone in a time of desperate need. He was the only working person in their family and now he is gone. I would like to thank everyone and anyone in advance that might read this post and pray for everyone who is dealing with this and similar situations.
I will keep everyone posted as to what I find out and I hope that through the blogging community we can help someone in need. God bless to all.
